CMHA Kelowna Outreach Services

The Homeless Outreach Program works with other community-based agencies to reach out to individuals who find themselves homeless or at risk of being homeless. This program connects homeless people to housing, income assistance, community-based social and health services.

Our aim is to:

  • Provide timely assistance and support to break the cycle of homelessness;
  • Reduce the time that individuals who are absolutely homeless remain on the street;
  • Connect homeless individuals to housing, income assistance, health‐care services and necessary medical services where appropriate;
  • To enhance access to community based support services which help individuals to maintain their housing and help individuals maintain and enhance their overall health;
  • To promote housing stability by providing supports for both landlords and tenants.
